Why I Chose to Keep Writing

This is not my first time blogging, I actually started writing during a university assignment for UJ’s 20-year celebration. But something about that experience stayed with me.

I realised how much I enjoyed slowing down, reflecting, and capturing the colors of my daily life. So, this time, I am doing it for me.

So here I am. Still writing. Still reflecting.

This space, My Days in Colour, is my way of turning ordinary days into something meaningful. I am currently a student at the University of Johannesburg, studying Public Relations and Communication. Life is full of lessons, wins, struggles, and stories, and this blog is my way of saying all of it. Whether it is reflecting on a lecture, sharing a song, or just venting about a tough day, I am putting it all here.

What this blog is about

Daily reflections as a student and growing adult
The behind-the-scenes of student life at UJ
Honest thoughts, sudden moments
Songs, sounds, and moods
Lessons I am learning by living

Why I chose to keep going

Because even when life gets loud or overwhelming, writing gives me clarity.
Because I want to remember who I was in these moments.
Because someone else might read this and feel seen.

Why It Matters

I believe stories, especially everyday ones, connect us. If something I write helps someone else feel less alone, laugh, think, or just relate, then this will be worth it.

Let us Connect

If you are reading this, thank you for being here. I hope this blog feels like a warm voice you can visit whenever you need one.

Let us walk through our colorful days together.
