Study, Laughter & Missing My Floor
Today’s Colours: Sunshine Yellow for Laughter, Forest Green for Growth
My Saturday did not start with a bang; it started with rest. I woke up around 10 a.m., cleaned my room, and cared for a friend who was not feeling well. She had a stomachache, and I was genuinely worried about her. Being there for each other, especially in those small ways, really makes our friendships stronger π
Study Blocks & Support Moments π§Ίπ
After she left, I took a bath and shifted into study mode. I studied from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., just trying to stay on track for my upcoming test. Then another friend asked for help with her laundry, so I stepped out to assist, and we ended up chatting for a while—sometimes, those quick moments turn into little pockets of joy.
Night Study Turns Into Comedy Hour π₯²π¬π
Around 7 p.m., my other friend invited me to the study room. We stayed focused and productive… until we took a break at 10 p.m. and got lost in a conversation about the series we are both watching.
We laughed so hard, you know the kind of laughing where your stomach hurts and tears come out? Yup, that one! π The best part? When we left the study room, still laughing at a joke, I totally missed my floor on the elevator because I forgot to press the button. I ended up at her floor instead, and we only realised once the doors opened.
“Laughter is the soundtrack of joy in the middle of the grind.”
π‘ What I Took from Today:
-
Helping a friend, whether with health or laundry, matters more than we think
-
Studying does not always have to be serious. Laughter is also productive
-
The best moments are often unplanned
-
Joy sneaks in when we are being ourselves
